I started my career in training and development at Harrods in the 1980's and then spent 12 fulfilling years in a variety of Human Resources and Learning and Development roles at Friends Provident, a blue chip life assurance company where I first trained as a coach.
In 2003, after my 4 year old son Ben was diagnosed with autism, I had to re-evaluate my life and reconsider what was important to me. I left Friends Provident in 2004 because I felt I needed more time to be there for Ben and the rest of my family. As I came to terms with the situation I realised this was a chance for me to fulfil my ambition of becoming a personal life coach, to help others who were facing the same difficulties and to offer my experience to other businesses.
